Thinking of getting a dog? October 6, 2016 02:30

Thinking of getting a dog? Here are a couple of things you should know.

Having a dog takes up a lot of time. Be sure to evaluate if having a dog would be a good idea if you work lots of hours. I recommend that you would look up what breed of dog would suit your needs.

A great place to start is at PetMD’s Breedopedia has a wide variety of breeds.  You should consider your life style and your living conditions. If you live in an apartment a smaller dog would probably be best as a big dog will probably get bored and destroy your apartment. LOL!

I strongly recommend you get health insurance. Veterinarian bills are very costly.  Believe me, I learned the hard way. Be sure to fine a good veterinary.  Your furry friends’ doctor would be the best person to recommend your doggies food depending on allergies or any type of condition. Clearly, proper nutrition is the way to good health. Buy your dog a proper dog leash or harness. If your new furry friend is a puppy, be sure to buy him/her lots of chewing toys. Remember puppies are very curious and love chewing and investigating.

Enjoy the beautiful things that a dog can teach us, like UNCONDITIONAL LOVE.

I hope that this information has helped many.

Wishing you a successful, livelong loving relationship.
